Mixed update

There are several things to update on this gloomy Tuesday morning - all not related to each other.

It is 2 Jul today, beginning of my 2nd week of Nor E. I have about 2 more weeks to go before I am officially off Nor E. I dont have as much side effects as what I read from the website like nausea, headache, bloated stomach etc. I do experience diarrhea on a daily basis and some pulling of muscle type cramps on my womb area. Will persevere and go till the end.

Sometimes things in life dont turn out the way we want it, or least expect it.

We received not so good news from L last week. She failed her HPT. She tried saizen, a type of medication to grow the eggs/improve quality of the eggs, blastocyst and ET on Day 5 and stuff. But she still failed. She was really upset and disappointed despite having changed doctor this round. We were very hopeful for her as she had some positive symptoms. She would like to take a break and move on. We hope she recovers from this episode very soon and on her road to TTC again.

When W had finally made up her mind to see Dr S at KKH next weekend, she got an SMS from the hospital to say she is on conference leave. She probably extended her leave as she was supposed to be back by next week. W’s birthday is coming in Oct and needs to utilise the govt grant before Oct otherwise, she will not be eligible for it. Let's hope she can use them real soon!

J did not have very good news on her embbies as well. She retrieved 16, 10 matured, 9 fertilised and 5 frozen - 3 Day 3 and 2 Blasto (out of 6 culture). She now has 5 snow babies for her FET in Aug.

However H went on her first visit to KKH last week. She enjoyed a good subsidised rate on her consultation, her Duphaston etc. She will go for her first BT sometime in mid Jul. Hope she gets a good doc.

E has just started her new work plc and is busy settling in. She will be kept busy till Oct, her scheduled FET. Jiayou!

I managed to encourage 2 out of 5 sistas to do a blog. W and J have already done their blogs quite nicely. Great start!

Have a great day!
